If history is any indication, the economic downturn caused by COVID-19 will have many looking for ways to take control of their financial futures. And becoming a franchisee will be at the top of many of those lists.

“Buyer beware,” warns international speaker and franchise author Dr. John P. Hayes. “Before you buy a franchise, make sure you do your homework.”

Dr. Hayes offers a helpful resource in his book, “How To Buy A Franchise Collection, Volume 1.” In it he provides “101 questions to ask before you invest in a franchise” and also outlines “7 Dirty Little Secrets of Franchising.”
