Challenges presented by the coronavirus have led many franchise brands to launch creative programs designed to attract new franchisees.
Edible Arrangements, for example, introduced a “Manage-To-Own” program for individuals with the drive to operate an Edible store, but lacking all the capital needed to open one themselves.
“I had an American Dream that became a reality,” Edible Founder/CEO Tariq Farid told FOX5 TV in Atlanta, adding there are more people like him who may not have the financial wherewithal. “So we’d love to back them.”
Selected candidates start by operating an Edible location with the potential to become a franchisee.
