The leader in performance-based music education continues to showcase its creativity during the pandemic, developing unique programs to keep its students involved nationwide.
School of Rock has introduced a songwriting program that teaches the fundamentals of songwriting, arrangement, lyric construction, music theory and more to help students compose their own original works.
Every few months, students will take the stage to perform their original compositions at a local music venue where permitted. Those taking the program online will record a demo of their original songs.
“Our goal is to build the world’s largest community of songwriters,” said CEO Rob Price.
