Neighborly continues to adapt to pandemic-caused recession

Neighborly’s recession resistant brands have helped the global franchisor continue its strong growth despite a struggling economy resulting from the pandemic.

The global health crisis has shown how essential the modern home has become, and as Jeanne Sahadi of CNN reported, “From an economic standpoint, that means greater demand for in-home service providers, like house cleaners, plumbers, repairmen, handymen, babysitters and nannies.”

The result is that home service franchise opportunities have been more popular than ever. Franchise Insights pointed out that “home services” was the most popular investment category in the second quarter with a 31.2% spike in investment inquiries.
