Franchising has proven a popular way for corporate executives to go into business for themselves and that’s the case for Craig Boggs of Chapmanville, West Virginia.
After working 30 years in the coal industry, Boggs opened West Virginia’s first Restoration 1 franchise, specializing in restoring homes and businesses from water, mold, fire and other damage.
“I was in high-level positions since I was 27 years old, and it was just time to step away from it and do something for myself,” Boggs told the Logan Banner.
Despite opening in the middle of a pandemic, Boggs says business is “extremely busy.”
