Franchising provides strength in numbers, even with social distancing

Neighborly president and CEO Mike Bidwell says no year has been a better testament to the value of franchising than 2020.

“The challenges presented by the pandemic have been trying on all industries. But times of crisis force us to lean on one another, and those in franchising have not had far to look for their support teams,” he wrote in Franchising World magazine.

Bidwell pointed out that Neighborly already had systems in place that helped the network adapt quickly, including technology and communication systems that allowed all the brands to start working remotely and effectively very early on the pandemic.
