What does the 100 mean in The Franchise 100?
The Franchise 100 is a publication of The 100 Companies, a digital publishing company in more than 24 markets. It primarily distributes eNewsletters and sends more than 1 million every month.

Each issue of The Franchise 100 has six stories, each exactly 100 words. You’ll be surprised how much you can learn with just one photo and 100 words. Our goal is to inform and entertain you without the need for a lengthy investment of your time.

While the stories in our monthly publication are 100 words, many of them link to much longer franchise-related content on our website.

Who writes The Franchise 100?
Our staff and contributors at The Franchise 100 are primarily journalists and marketing professionals with decades of experience in franchising, including internationally-recognized franchise speaker and author Dr. John P. Hayes, whose “How To Buy A Franchise” podcasts and blog have helped thousands of people just like you become franchisees. We welcome stories from readers who wish to share their experiences as well.

Our editor-in-chief and publisher, Scott White, is an award-winning writer and PR professional who has been involved in franchising for over three decades and has covered and helped promote many of the most high-profile brands in the industry.
