Franchise Update Media has honored Gold’s Gym with its 2020 award for Most Innovative Use of Customer-Facing Digital Tools. The award recognizes the brand’s “Gold’s Gym Anywhere” platform for digital exercise.
As the COVID-19 pandemic took hold, Gold’s Gym saw a need to provide at-home exercise programs as a way to support the physical and mental health of its community.
The on-demand video platform launched in March and has had over 350,000 plays and has more than 230 workout videos. There were more than 130 entrants for the award category, and Gold’s Gym was one of the 18 winners chosen.
